Holly Rayson is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Pier Francesco Ferrari, where she is using MRI, eye tracking, and behavioural observation to investigate the relationship between early brain development and social functioning, supported by a Fondation de France Fellowship. Before this she worked with Helen Dodd at the University of Reading using EEG and eye tracking to elucidate the precursors of anxiety disorders in young children. She completed her PhD in 2017 with Lynne Murray at the University of Reading, which focused on how early mother-infant interactions influence infant neural responses to others’ facial expressions and gaze
